Komiza is picturesque fisherman’s town with the most sunny days in a year, with hundred year old carob trees, picturesque stone houses, medicinal Mediterranean plants and vineyards which are covering the hillsides. A long fishing tradition is present everywhere. One of the most powerful marks is Gajeta Falkuša - a famous fishermen’s boat, a highlight of that tradition. Walking north from the town centre there are a few small beaches. The best beach is wide and pebbly Gusarica beach on Komiza's northern edge. The beach cafe-restaurant is a great place to have a coffee or cocktail while sheltering from the sun. South of the town centre is Kamenice beach, now the site of Lunatic beach club/bar/disco. It's a great place to watch the sunset and stay on for a late night beach party. In Komiza, the beautiful harbour is lined with restaurant terraces and is the ideal place to depart for a visit to nearby Biševo island, where the famous Blue Cave is found, or just relax on the beach.

You have a 45m² private pool with shower, and alongside it you’ll find sun loungers and inviting seating and dining areas. A large umbrella overhead gives you shade from the sun as you eat.

Villa Island Time is located on a property of 1000 m², has a total of 400 m² of living space, spreads over two floors, has 4 bedrooms with 4 en suite bathrooms and offers comfortable accommodation for 8 + 2 persons.

As already mentioned, the outer part of the villa is on elevated position and it consists of a spacious courtyard with a swimming pool, deck chairs and an outdoor shower with heated water. Step straight inside and there’s an elegant indoor dining area too, along with a kitchen equipped with a coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and everything else you may need. The relaxing lounge area is just a few steps away, offering a large HDTV and ample seating. You also have Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout the property. On this floor there is also a master room with a king size bed and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, satellite TV, and which through its glass south-western walls offers a panoramic view of the clear Adriatic Sea.

Three bedrooms with their own bathroom are on the ground floor, which is connected by stairs to the first floor. You will find similar features in the all ground floor bedrooms, which feature direct access through the glass walls to the fresh air and to the terrace where you can feel the scents of olive trees and lemons. If you want to spend your vacation more actively in the villa, there is also a professional gym and various sports equipment at your disposal where you can maintain your routine. On this floor there is also a separate bathroom with a shower and laundry.

On island Vis there are countless possibilities for activities which can be discerned in the nature with which Vis is inextricably linked. Lovers of adventure can enjoy diving, caving and paragliding, and there is also a growing interest for military tours. The inner part of the island is rich in wine roads, and you can also enrol into a horse-riding school, which is there for all those who want to learn to ride or just enjoy the company of these noble animals and beautiful nature.

Location

Vis is a small island, with rocky shore which is 77 kilometres long, located on the open sea, 45 kilometres from the mainland and it is surrounded by it's archipelago which consists of many smaller islands and islets. The climate on the island of Vis is Mediterranean, and since it is located on the open sea, the minimum temperature on the island is always few degrees higher than on the mainland or other islands. Thanks to its climate the island of Vis is one of the best locations in Croatia for growing lemons and other citruses. Vis is connected with mainland with ferry connection that operates three to four times per day, and catamaran connections. There are two main towns on the island, the town of Vis and the town of Komiza and many smaller settlements along the coast and in the interior. In the past, Komiza was mainly fishermen's port and town of Vis agricultural and merchant centre. Both are located in well protected bays, and the ferry port is located in the town of Vis. Komiža has long fishing tradition which is reflected in the appearance of this small town and in the warmth of the local people. It is situated at the foot of the hill Hum (587 m) and oriented in West-Southwest direction. It is, therefore, protected from all the northerly winds and is subsequently the warmest place in Croatia in winter. The archipelago of Komiža encompasses even the farthest Adriatic islands, rich with fish – Biševo, Palagruža, St. Andrija as well as Jabuka and Brusnik – islands of volcanic origin.
