Villa Stella Hvar


Villa Stella Hvar is a classical mixture of modern and Mediterranean style, presenting the inimitable external architectural solutions, combined with the local tradition and natural beauties. Villa Stella Hvar was built in 2014, on private premises with the surface of over 40 hectares, on the foundations of the ancient farm, which in the past century, provided shelter and safety to farmers working in fields and wine yards surrounding the house. It has been fully functional since 2015. Villa Stella Hvar is located in the central, rural part of the island, on a hill safeguarding Pokrivenik, one of the most beautiful bays on the island, distant only 30 minutes from town Hvar, surrounded by autochthonous vegetation and centennial pine trees.

The walk to the Villa Stella Hvar seems to be the journey back to old, remote, forgotten times. Isolation, peace and silence that surround it, vouch for a quality rest, both for body and soul, whereas the evening starlit sky represents the view to be long remembered by every guest. Privacy and luxurious facilities are the main characteristics of this modern villa.

The property of Villa Stella Hvar extends over an area of 100.000 m², where the villa complex occupies 400 m². Villa Stella Hvar has 5 bedrooms, 10 beds, 4 bathrooms, 1 toilet and is suitable accommodation for 10 people. The villa also has a outdoor swimming pool, sauna, whirlopool, gym and tennis court.

Ground floor of Villa Stella Hvar consists of spacious living room, modernly furnished dining area with a modern and fully equipped kitchen. On this level there is also master bedroom with bathroom and another two bedrooms with shared bathroom. Each bedroom, as well as the living and the dining area have a direct access to the surrounding terraces.

The internal staircase descend to the villas basement where is separate dining room with a small wine cellar where you can taste famous local wines. On this level there is also wellness zone – sauna, gym, whirlpool where you can relax your body and soul. Here is also another spacious double bedroom and bathroom.

Away from the main villa is separate studio apartment with a kitchen and bathroom, which can be used as a guest apartment for staff. Many daily activities can be carried out in a specially designed pergola with a large built-in barbecue, outdoor mini-bar and lounge seating area. In front of the pergola is a spacious sun deck with a large swimming pool where on pleasant weather days you can enjoy swimming. In the late afternoon when the breeze blows, the sun sinks lower in the sky and light takes on a more honeyed hue, a large sundeck invites you to extend the evening by relaxing and enjoying the view.

Stone plated walkways connect the residential part of the property with the full size tennis court, to enjoy either a tennis, or a boccia game in the warm summer evenings.

Location


Hvar, the island in Adriatic Sea, is the longest and the sunniest Croatian island and one of the most beautiful islands in the world. It is a part of the central Dalmatian archipelago with the area of 299,6m². The island Hvar is famous for its pleasant Mediterranean climate. Maximum temperatures are never too high to render agriculture impossible. Friendly people, well-indented coast, numerous picturesque and intact beaches and bays, virgin nature, very rich historical and cultural inheritance, the scents of lavender, olive trees and wine are the reasons that island Hvar welcomes more and more tourists each year.

Long, lean Hvar is vaguely shaped like the profile of a holidaymaker reclining on a sun lounger, which is altogether appropriate for the sunniest spot in the country and its most luxurious beach destination. Hvar's interior hides abandoned ancient hamlets, craggy peaks, vineyards and the lavender fields that the island is famous for. It’s worth exploring on a day trip, as is the southern end of the island, which has some of Hvar’s most beautiful and isolated coves.

The village of Zastrazisce has a few remote parts. The stone houses, courtyards and streets are beautiful examples of rustic architecture. In the numerous fields around Zastrazisce thrive the olive trees, producing the best olive oil on the island thanks to the abundance of sun and hardworking hands of the farmers. In Zastrazisce there are a few restaurants, as well as a self service shop, while the closest bank, post office, doctor and petrol station are in Jelsa.

The village of Gdinj is located by the main road, east of the village Zastrazisce. There are plenty of interesting clusters of stone houses, old balconies and courtyards, while aromatic plants are radiating their scents from the nature which surrounds you. Visitors to Gdinj will undoubtedly enjoy the charms of this Dalmatian village, its traditional specialties being served in Gdinj’s restaurants offering the spirit of an ancient passed times. In Gdinj there are a few restaurants and self service shops.
