Villa Allegory Dubrovnik

Villa Allegory Dubrovnik is situated in Orasac, just few minutes driving from world famous Dubrovnik, on a plot of 1000m². Villa Allegory Dubrovnik features a large home, fragrant Mediterranean gardens and a tucked-away terrace lounge with a barbecue and heated pool.

East-west orientation of the villa gets you maximum sun exposure and brimming sea vistas from all front-of-the-house areas and bedrooms. The ground floor with an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area and the upper level with four bedrooms comprise  300m² of interior space and come topped with a rooftop terrace. Eight guests can enjoy staying at this private villa, and 4 more can be accommodated on pull-out sofas. The style of the villa rests upon clean lines and bold details. Evoking Mediterranean at every corner, vivacious pieces of art compliment the modern lines of hand-selected furniture created by renowned regional designers.

You enter the Villa Allegory Dubrovnik from the east, either through the main door or directly from the private garage with parking for two cars. As you step into the entrance foyer with an open ceiling, the front and the back of the house are to your left and right. Support rooms (storage, boiler, laundry, and toilette) are all at the back so that the front relishes inspiring views. Spellbound by the green landscapes rolling down to the Adriatic Sea, expect to be constantly tempted to cook, dine or lounge here. Bathing in daylight, this common space is centred on a fine wooden dining table seating up to 12 guests. To the left, a modern kitchen with top-notch appliances enables you to enjoy a completely self-sustainable stay, but also a drop-in visit by a private chef. In the roomy living area to the right, lush relaxation awaits among stylish sofas and armchairs.

The ground floor interior seamlessly transitions into a private terrace and pool area west of the house. An alluring alternative to the lively local beaches, the heated, 9mx5m pool features a unique black and white tiling design. Throw in a bit of shade, sun loungers and an open barbecue, and you get a playground to master the skill of dolce far niente. If you are travelling with family, the terrace is bound to entertain and bring together all generations in your party.

The central staircase in the entrance foyer leads up to the first floor with four double bedrooms. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. With high ceilings and voluminous space, these rooms feel grand and make it easy to accommodate extra guests on pull-out sofas. Front rooms delve in upgraded sea vistas, while the side ones meditate upon serene village imagery. Ready for modern guests who like to stay connected, each room comes equipped with Wi-Fi and Sat TV.

To top it all off, walk up to the open-air terrace on the roof of Villa Allegorry Dubrovnik to find yourself immersed in breath-taking panoramas which blend nature, history and culture into snapshots. Come up to enjoy the views, perhaps a quiet moment, but certainly to get a 360-degree perspective on things.

Location

Dubrovnik riviera is picturesque area lying along the coast, with the gentle and rocky coast abounding in natural bays, with a mixture of pine and olive groves, vineyards and the Mediterraneous bush-covered rock. Dubrovnik region includes basically all areas that were once a part of the Dubrovnik Republic - the lush Elaphite Islands, Peljesac Peninsula, Konavle and Zupa to the east with the lovely town of Cavtat, Trsteno with the famous Arboretum and many seaside places to the west, Peljesac peninsula and the town of Ston, Mljet island with the beautiful National Park area, and the Korcula island with the medieval town of Korcula. Visiting Dubrovnik is not a complete pleasure without seeing at least a part of its surroundings: the good land and sea connections offer the possibility of organizing either shorter or longer excursions. Orasac is a picturesque town with a nice beach, spring water and ancient olive groves. It is well known for its excursion destination restaurants, in particular the 'Soderini' castle, once owned by one of the great men of Florence who had to flee his hometown from the Medici family and he found shelter and peace here (16th century). Today, the castle has been repurposed into a hospitality facility.
