Villa Calamota is a modern construction, it is designed to follow the sun’s daily course from the sunrise to sunset. As villa faces the sea, during the day you can choose between spending your time in full sun or in cool shade under the trees. The Villa is elegantly furnished with a combination of modern design as well as antique furniture of the last and preceding centuries.

From private pier stone path leads to very important feature – private pool with fresh water. A shaded lounging area serves as welcome respite or a refreshing break during hot and humid days or night. Villa Calamota spreads over 3 floors; ground, first and second floor. There are 4 double bedrooms in the villa, sleeping 8 guests and 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor of the villa, you will find a equipped gym room, one bedroom with double bed and en-suite modern bathroom with a shower. From bedroom you can access terrace and garden equipped with garden furniture.

On the 1st floor there are two living rooms, one is TV room and one is sitting room with library. Both with big comfortable sofas, antique furniture and the latest technology, LCD TV and DVD player. From sitting room is exit to east-oriented terrace with breakfast table under pine trees and access to the garden. Spacious dining room and completely equipped modern kitchen are also on this floor and this area is separated by a glass wall from the south-oriented spacious terrace, furnished with comfortable chairs, so you can relax and enjoy the sea view.

On 2nd floor are 3 bedrooms, balconies and bathrooms. Each room is equipped with LCD and AC. Master Bedroom has 2 terrace exit, one with sea view and one with garden view. Master bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is equipped with double bed and a north-oriented terrace with outdoor seating furniture. Third, south oriented bedroom has double bed and has the views to the sea and the beah. Those two bedrooms share bathroom.

Location

Koločep is a picturesque Adriatic island in the Elafiti near Dubrovnik, also called Kalamota by the locals. Its surface area is 2.35 km2 and it is only 5km away from Dubrovnik’s Gruž port which offers about a dozen daily connections. The island has two towns, Gornje Čelo and Donje Čelo, located in the largest bays and connected by a 3km long swerving promenade. The East and West parts of the island are covered in thick pine tree forest which descends all the way to the surface of the sea. It is one of the most interesting islands in the Adriatic with numerous hidden coves, as well as the Blue Cave inside which you can swim. The clear sea is full of fish and seashells. Unlike the majority of Adriatic islands, Koločep has an abundance of rich soil and water, as well as diverse plants and tall trees. The first sight of the island can leave you breathless, as it fills you with peace, the smell of Mediterranean plants and the intense color of the Adriatic. It has pebble and sandy beaches, the larger coves are Sapluni and Porat. Sports and recreation lovers can enjoy the cycling and jogging trails which follow the coastline, as well as scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, kayaking, beach volleyball and badminton. After your first visit to the island, you will always want to return. While in Koločep, do not miss the opportunity to visit Dubrovnik and Cavtat.
