Luxury Villa Piccolo Mondo is situated on small, unspoilt island 10 nautical miles south west off the coasts of Trogir. Those who are looking to find perfect peace in the quiet of the summer noon and the starry night skies with the sound of the sea only – are on the perfect place. Drvenik Mali is one of the smallest Croatian inhabited islands with magnificent and unspoiled nature. The settlements on island are connected by an asphalt road (smaller part) and the macadam roads with rare cars passing by. The macadam road connects two places with beautiful beaches, you will find the first one right near the ferry pier in Borak and the other in Velika Rina. Drvenik Mali is a tranquil and unspoilt haven. It is well known for its sandy and pebble beaches and clear blue sea.

Villa Piccolo Mondo is made up of four separate properties on one plot – three on the same area and one with relax zone outside the fenced estate. All four have been built with Dalmatian stone and blend in sympathetically with the surroundings. While the exteriors are traditional, the inside is modern and tastefully decorated. Care has been taken to use colour schemes of white, sand and stone to complement the character of the property.

Villa Piccolo Mondo and its pleasant garden are enclosed by a traditional stone wall. The sea is just a short walk away. Villa Piccolo Mondo consists of the master house and 3 independent accommodation unites – studios. Villa has in total 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and it is beautiful accommodation for 8 persons. This complex of houses is the perfect example of how to combine the beauty of traditional exteriors with a modern, tastefully decorated interior.

The entire property is dominated by bright, earthy and natural colors that will surely impress you and, even more importantly, provide you an excellent atmosphere for relaxation and a perfect holiday in the countryside. The master house is on two floors. On the ground floor is a modern fully equipped kitchen, attractive dining area with table and chairs, a particularly lovely living room with luxurious sofa and chandelier, and a spacious bathroom with shower and bath tub. The first floor is reached by a spiral staircase leading to the master bedroom with SAT TV and en suite bathroom. The adjoining terrace is a lovely place to sit and relax, enjoying the views of the pool, sea and distant islands.

In Studio 1 there is a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom. The pool, sea and islands can be seen through a set of glass doors which run along the entire outside wall. On the right hand side of the master house is the third property – Studio 2, home to a modern double bedroom and bathroom. This property also has set of glass doors which run along the entire outside wall. For those who would like to have more privacy, to enjoy in good book, relax and meditate – there is Studio 3 which is situated on the same plot but outside traditional stone wall.

Outside there is a large swimming pool (7x3,5m) surrounded by a terrace with chairs and umbrellas and a pleasant garden with patio. There is a BBQ with a small dining area and the villa has a parking space. If you choose to take a tour across the island on foot, you will need an hour or two to come to know its magical paths through olive and carnations groves and fields of aromatic Mediterranean herbs.

Take with you home-made virgin olive oil from the island that is widely known for its aroma, and unforgettable memories of its virgin coasts and the clear sea where you have flooded all your stresses and worries and found the delight and miraculous healing power of the Mediterranean as it has always been.

Location


Drvenik Mali is a small, unspoilt island 10 nautical miles south west off the coasts of Trogir. It measures just under 4 km squared and 60 people live there. Building is sparse, with several small villages consisting of a few houses each. The most significant is the village of Borak, where ships and ferries from Trogir dock. There is hardly any traffic, and you are "away from it all", enjoying the scent of Mediterranean pines, the soft lapping of the sea and the fresh air. There is a shop near harbour, restaurant and a cafe in the bay of Vela Rina, that is all! And you get a fantastic, uncrowded sandy beach. Most of the island is covered with olive groves, pine trees and vineyards. You can relax among the green Mediterranean vegetation, swim in the crystal clear unpolluted sea, go boating, diving, fishing and snorkelling and sunbathe on sandy beaches. It is a relaxing holiday above all. Do venture out to the mainland, and visit the unforgettable Trogir and Split, also stopping off in the very charming village of Primosten. Just 50km further north is the amazing town of Sibenik, and the wonderful Krka waterfall National park.
